Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Equipment Coordinator to join our logistics and operations team. In this vital role, you will oversee the management, procurement, and distribution of equipment and materials across various departments. Your expertise will ensure seamless supply chain operations, optimize inventory control, and uphold safety and regulatory standards. Duties Coordinate the procurement, tracking, and distribution of equipment and materials to ensure timely availability for operational needs Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms to prevent shortages or overstocking Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including order fulfillment, packaging, picking & packing, and freight management Collaborate with transportation management systems (TMS) to plan routes, optimize freight costs, and ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations Support warehouse management activities such as materials handling, category management, and warehouse distribution strategies Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics operations, inventory control, and materials sourcing Maintain regulatory compliance related to international trade regulations, shipping logistics, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other transportation standards Supervise team members involved in logistics functions like order picking, forklift operation, and materials management to promote safety and productivity Experience Proven experience in supply chain management within a logistics or warehouse environment Strong background in inventory management, warehouse distribution, and shipping & receiving procedures Familiarity with transportation planning systems such as TMS or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Technical proficiency with ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms; advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite for data analysis and reporting Knowledge of freight forwarding, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), international trade regulations, and shipping logistics practices Experience managing fleet operations, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and warehouse management systems (WMS) Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring compliance with transportation safety regulations Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives in supply chain operations Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, carriers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies Join us as an Equipment Coordinator to be at the forefront of our logistics excellence!
