EMLS is searching for an experienced Inventory Manager to lead our materials group and manage material flow throughout the Plant.Job Duties:
Coordinate efforts of Peterbilt Materials Planners to ensure proper inventory levels are established and maintained to achieve EMLSs company goals. Directly supervises Inventory Management team and Customer Service Reps. Manages inventory tracking system to record product movement, shipments, and inventory levels as per the supply chain and inventory control process. Communicate with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues. Analyzes daily inventory levels to anticipate shortages. Reports on inventory levels, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management. Assists in recruitment and manages training of new inventory and customer service employees. Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stocks levels. Keep track of latest trends and technology in the warehouse and inventory control spectrum. Track and meet KPIs for inventory control that are set by the company. Works directly with the Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Expediters to deliver parts in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Requirements:
Directly responsible for employees within the Materials Department.Education/ Experience:
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related Supply Management field or five to seven years related experience and/or training in lieu of a Bachelors degree; experience shall include inventory analysis and optimization, and forecasting/planningJob Type:
