Job Description

Anchor Workforce Partners is recruiting a Senior Warehouse Manager for a leading North American meat producer and distributor operating a high-volume, cross-border distribution facility in Laredo, TX. This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client. You will be a full-time employee of the hiring company — not Anchor. About the Opportunity You'll lead warehouse operations at a high-volume cold storage / refrigerated distribution facility in Laredo, TX handling meat and protein products. The role reports to a Logistics Manager based in Mexico and works closely with US authorities on customs, imports, and product handling compliance. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, staff, and workflow at the Laredo facility Manage inventory, product handling, and transportation coordination Ensure compliance with US import regulations and cross-border product handling rules Coordinate with US authorities (customs, DOT, USDA) and the Mexico-based logistics team Build and maintain operational and inventory reports in Excel Handle escalations, including after-hours operational issues when required Drive process improvements as operational volume grows Uphold safety, quality, and food-handling standards throughout the facility What We Require (must-haves — please only apply if all apply to you) Bilingual English and Spanish — fluent in both, spoken and written. You will work with US authorities and the Mexico team daily. Cross-border / import experience — deep, hands-on knowledge of US import regulations, customs, and product handling Proven warehouse management experience — track record leading warehouse operations, ideally in food, perishables, or high-volume distribution Inventory and transportation management experience Intermediate Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, sums, grouping, and data manipulation. You will be tested on Excel before submission. You are legally authorized to work in the US and can provide a US address for payroll and tax purposes Preferred (not required but a plus) Cold storage / cold-chain experience — prior work in refrigerated warehouse environments SAP experience Meat, protein, or food distribution industry background Prior experience in a Laredo or border-region distribution operation Straight Talk About the Schedule This role is not a 9-to-5.
