Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Distribution & Inventory Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Supervise daily warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate operations. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing clear direction, training, and motivation to maximize team productivity and morale. Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement process improvements for inventory accuracy. Operate and coordinate the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate efficient movement of goods. Develop and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct safety training sessions for team members. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse layout, streamline processes using lean management principles, and improve overall distribution center operations. Maintain detailed documentation of shipping & receiving activities, inventory adjustments, and process improvements using systems like AS400 or Warehouse Management System (WMS). Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong background in distribution center management or supervision. Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, inventory management systems, and logistics coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent platforms. Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy lifting equipment safely. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and communicate effectively at managerial levels. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to materials handling and warehouse safety standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to implement process improvements using lean management techniques. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and material handling as required for warehouse operations.
