This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building and improving systems, not simply maintaining them . We are looking for a hands-on, analytical inventory professional who can evaluate our current processes, identify gaps, improve inventory accuracy and visibility, establish meaningful controls and reporting, and build scalable inventory practices that support continued growth. You'll work directly with Pharmacy Operations, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, Quality, Technology, Shipping, and company leadership. You'll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how we forecast, purchase, track, manage, and optimize inventory across the organization. This is a full-time, onsite position in Richardson, Texas. What You'll Own Inventory accuracy and inventory-control processes across pharmaceutical ingredients, packaging components, supplies, finished goods, and other operational inventory Cycle-count programs, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory discrepancy investigations Root-cause analysis of inventory variances and implementation of corrective actions Inventory controls for receiving, storage, movements, transfers, adjustments, returns, quarantine, disposition, and write-offs Lot traceability, expiration management, FIFO/FEFO practices, and inventory documentation Inventory planning, including reorder points, safety stock, min/max levels, lead times, replenishment triggers, and days-on-hand targets Identification and mitigation of stockout risks, shortages, excess inventory, obsolete inventory, and supply-chain disruptions Inventory KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and data analysis Inventory-related SOPs, processes, controls, and employee training Continuous-improvement initiatives focused on improving accuracy, reducing waste, preventing shortages, and increasing operational efficiency You'll also partner closely with Procurement on purchasing priorities, supplier performance, lead times, alternative sourcing, and supply continuity, and with our Technology and Product teams to improve inventory systems, reporting, integrations, and automation.
What We're Looking For Required:
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in inventory control, inventory management, supply chain, materials management, manufacturing, pharmacy operations, or a closely related field Hands-on experience managing cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations Demonstrated experience identifying the root causes of inventory discrepancies and implementing sustainable corrective actions Experience working with ERP, WMS, inventory-management, or comparable operational systems Strong Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills Experience developing or managing inventory KPIs, dashboards, or management reporting Experience developing, implementing, or improving SOPs, inventory processes, and operational controls Working knowledge of inventory-planning concepts such as reorder points, safety stock, min/max levels, lead times, forecasting, and days on hand Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate and work effectively across operational teams and company leadership Ability to work full-time onsite in Richardson, Texas We'd Especially Like to Meet You If You Have Pharmacy, pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or other regulated-industry experience Experience with lot-controlled and expiration-controlled inventory Experience with FEFO, recalls, quarantine, traceability, or product disposition Demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or materials-planning experience Experience partnering with Procurement and managing supplier performance Experience implementing or improving an inventory-management system Power BI, Looker, SQL, NetSuite, or similar analytics, ERP, or WMS experience Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement experience Experience supporting regulatory, quality, or financial audits
APICS/ASCM
CPIM or CSCP certification A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered. What Success Looks Like Success in this position means creating an inventory-control function that the organization can rely on. You'll help us achieve consistently accurate inventory, stronger forecasting and replenishment, fewer stockouts, lower expiration and write-off losses, better visibility into supply risks, effective cycle-count and reconciliation processes, and reliable inventory data that leadership can use to make decisions. We're looking for someone who doesn't just identify an inventory problem. We want someone who determines why it happened, fixes the underlying process, and puts controls in place to keep it from happening again. Work Environment This position is based onsite at our Richardson, Texas facility and requires regular interaction with pharmacy, production, inventory, receiving, and shipping operations. The position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required for physical inventories, audits, and operational initiatives.
