Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cost & Inventory Manager to support financial accuracy and inventory control for operations in Texas. This Long-term Contract position is suited for a detail-oriented candidate who can strengthen cost accounting practices, improve inventory visibility, and ensure dependable reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to analyzing stock activity, validating inventory records, and partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cost accounting activities to ensure product and inventory valuations are accurate, timely, and aligned with reporting requirements.
  • Analyze inventory movements and balances to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of annual inventory counts, ensuring proper coordination, documentation, and follow-up on count results.
  • Manage annual physical inventory procedures and confirm that count results are accurately reflected in financial and operational records.
  • Perform detailed inventory reconciliations between system data and physical counts to maintain reliable stock accuracy.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory variances and improve control measures.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, cost trends, and adjustment activity to support business decision-making.
  • Support process improvements related to inventory tracking, count accuracy, and cost control within day-to-day operations.
