Inventory Lead

Job Title:

Warehouse Lead Job Description Responsible for monitoring and managing in-process and finished goods inventory including finished products, manufactured components, commercial off-the-shelf components, and other raw materials, chemicals, essential production supplies & tools. Collaborate with the Inventory and Warehouse Manager to reconcile discrepancies and identify needed adjustments or corrections. Communicate with Inside Sales, Purchasing Manager, Inventory and Warehouse Manager, and the Production Planner to determine anticipated inventory needs. Supervise a team of 5 Inventory Clerks to ensure orders are correctly shipped in a timely manner. Responsibilities Monitor flow of warehouse shipping/ receving Collaborate with Warehouse Manager Identify and implement necessary inventory adjustments or corrections. Communicate with sales, purchasing, and production planning departments to anticipate inventory needs. Supervise a team of 5+ Oder pullers/ warehouse workers. Ensure accurate and timely shipping of orders. Essential Skills 4+ years of warehouse lead experience. Forklift operator/ Order pulling, Loading and unloading Proficiency in inventory cycle counts. Experience ERP. Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook. Bilingual capabilities. Forklift operation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Supervisory skills. Work Environment Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility that is currently being renovated and expanded. The position operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5 am to 5 pm, with every other Saturday required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
