Available Benefits Help for . voestalpine Bohler Welding USA LLC seeks Materials Management Manager to work in Sugar Land, TX.The Materials Management Manager leads the local Materials Management (MM) team and is responsible for the development and implementation of MM group strategies, inventory management processes, stock policies, and materials planning of all finished products, including trading products, according to voestalpine Group guidelines. Develop the strategies and lead the execution of plans to drive inventory availability, on-time delivery, and inventory turns. Control MM purchasing department budgets. Direct and coordinate activities of the personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. Monitor and control inventory KPIs for MM in alignment with the strategy of the functional organization, and ensure that the targets are being achieved locally. Develop and the process for replenishment of all finished goods inside the local organization. Optimize the local replenishment process according to and based on the group guidelines. Responsible for the local MRP settings (SAP) within the material master data to acquire right size inventory in line with demand. Develop a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to improve lead time and inventory levels and eliminate waste. Optimize stock levels (working capital) in support of business goals. Lead the S&OP Process for domestic and international mills, aligning capacity with sales demand. Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability. Develop cost reduction strategies and savings plans. Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. Locate vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales. Prepare bid awards requiring board approval. Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy. Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids. Administer online purchasing systems. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Maintain records of goods ordered and received. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers. Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials. Arrange for disposal of surplus materials. Manage/coordinate local supply chain projects related to MM issues. Maintain relevant local master data in SAP. Prepare and monitor local audits related to MM topics. Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. Participate in corporate or cross-functional initiatives related to purchasing or materials. Provide leadership and training to the Local Materials Management organization, develop the initiatives and activities of the department. Evaluate performance of personnel and contribute to people development, conduct annual performance appraisals, establish priorities, set objectives and target agreements. Ensure the implementation of group and divisional guidelines effective in accordance with corporate guidelines. regular necessary reports and ensure continuous alignment with the VP Global

MM. REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study, and three (3) years of experience in a related supply chain management position. Work experience or academic coursework must have included: experience with the Supply Chain Management Order-to-Cash process; SAP applications for Materials Management (SAP MM) and Business Warehouse (SAP BW); project management tool, SD Matrix; product and market knowledge including product portfolio and main production processes; and Microsoft applications WebEx and Point.
