Materials Runner (Water Spider)
Job Summary:
The Materials Runner (Water Spider) supports production by ensuring workstations are continuously supplied with materials, tools, and components to minimize downtime and maintain efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver materials and supplies to production lines. Replenish inventory at workstations and remove finished goods and scrap. Maintain material flow to prevent production interruptions. Assist with inventory transactions using barcode scanners or ERP systems. Follow 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety standards. Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams. Report material shortages, damaged inventory, or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Forklift certification is a plus.
