Dealership Parts Manager Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - 1.5 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Staff supervision Parts administration experience within automotive industry Parts administration experience within retail industry Dealership experience Full Job Description Parts Manager — Domestic Automotive Dealership We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy domestic automotive dealership parts department. The ideal candidate will have strong dealership parts experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage both employees and customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the parts department and supervise a team of up to 10 employees . Ensure accurate and timely coding, processing, and reconciliation of manufacturer invoices. Coordinate and ensure prompt parts deliveries throughout the Wasatch Front . Maintain appropriate parts inventory levels and ensure efficient ordering and distribution. Work closely with service, sales, technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure exceptional parts department performance. Resolve customer and employee conflicts professionally and effectively. Train, coach, and motivate department employees while maintaining accountability for performance. Establish and maintain efficient department processes and procedures. Monitor department productivity, accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership parts management experience required. Experience working with a domestic automotive manufacturer strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of up to 10 employees. Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations, manufacturer invoicing, and inventory management. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively handle customer and employee conflicts. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who understands dealership parts operations, can keep the department organized and productive, and is comfortable balancing employee management, customer service, manufacturer requirements, and delivery logistics across the Wasatch Front.
