Job Purpose The Paper Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all inbound paper receiving activities, inventory management, and material flow for both roll paper and sheetfed paper. This position oversees paper receiving, inventory accuracy, and material distribution to ensure uninterrupted production operations. The Paper Coordinator is also responsible for managing all component inventory tracked within ePACE, ensuring inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and timely availability of production materials. Additionally, this role oversees the paper sampling process for roll paper to support the company's paper waste reduction initiatives through quality verification and data collection. The Paper Coordinator oversees paper receiving processes, inventory control activities, quality inspections, and documentation while serving as the primary point of coordination for paper-related logistics activities. Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities Paper Inventory & Material Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound roll paper movements.
- Monitor paper inventory levels and communicate material requirements.
- Ensure roll paper is properly received, stored, staged, and issued to production.
- Coordinate material flow activities with procurement and production departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and paper usage documentation.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound movements of roll paper and sheetfed paper.
- Oversee receiving, inventory, storage, and distribution of sheetfed paper to production departments.
- Ensure production lines remain supplied with the appropriate paper materials to support uninterrupted operations.
- Manage inventory levels for all paper products and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all paper materials. Receiving, Inspection & Quality Control
- Coordinate paper receiving activities and shipment verification.
- Perform visual inspections of incoming paper shipments.
- Identify shipping damage, material defects, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate paper sampling and testing activities as required.
- Communicate quality issues to Procurement, Production, and Quality teams.
- Oversee receiving and verification of all sheetfed paper shipments.
- Manage the paper sampling process for incoming roll paper to support the paper waste reduction project.
- Ensure paper samples are collected, documented, and communicated for quality evaluation. Inventory Control & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and material movement records.
- Investigate paper inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare reports related to inventory, receiving, waste, and material usage.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for inventory and compliance purposes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for all component inventory tracked within ePACE.
- Process and verify all component inventory transactions in ePACE.
- Investigate and resolve paper and component inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories for both paper and component materials.
- Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary. Component Inventory Management
- Oversee all component inventory tracked within ePACE.
- Ensure all component receipts, transfers, and inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Scheduling to maintain component availability.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve component shortages and inventory discrepancies.
- Support inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to component management. Operational Support & Communication
- Prepare detailed shift handoff notes documenting operational concerns and material issues.
- Coordinate activities with Clamp Truck Operators and production personnel.
- Support roll stock operations to ensure presses remain supplied with required materials.
- Communicate material shortages, inventory concerns, and receiving issues.
- Participate in operational planning and material scheduling discussions. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and material handling procedures.
- Support safe storage and handling of paper inventory.
- Participate in safety meetings and training activities.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control and receiving procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, inventory concerns, and operational risks promptly. Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of receiving, shipping, and material handling processes.
- Ability to analyze inventory data and inventory trends. Interpersonal Skills

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of inventory, warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience within manufacturing environments preferred.
- Forklift or clamp truck certification preferred. Physical Requirements

Up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent inspections of inventory, receiving, and storage areas.
- Ability to operate computers and inventory systems throughout the shift. Environmental Conditions
- Manufacturing, warehouse, receiving, and paper storage environments.
- Exposure to forklifts, clamp trucks, paper dust, production equipment, and varying temperatures.
- PPE required when working in operational areas. Other Requirements
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when operational demands require.
- Must maintain inventory accuracy and strong attention to detail.
