Job Description

Position Summary The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts department operations, including inventory control, purchasing, vendor relations, staff supervision, and financial performance. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, efficient processes, and a well-organized showroom and warehouse while supporting overall company profitability and customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilites Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate and organized inventory systems; monitor stock levels and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Ordering & Receiving:
Forecast parts needs, place orders with vendors, receive shipments, and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
Recordkeeping:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of parts transactions, including sales, returns, cores, and usage, using inventory control systems.
Vendor & Supplier Relations:
Communicate with suppliers to place orders, track shipments, manage RMAs, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Returns & Core Management:
Process parts returns and RMAs, remove items from inventory upon receipt of credit, return cores in a timely manner, and follow up to ensure credits are issued.
Financial & Administrative Coordination:
Match purchase orders with invoices, obtain required approvals, and forward documentation to the accounting department.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate inventory and sales reports, analyze trends, and make recommendations to management regarding stocking levels, obsolete inventory, and purchasing strategies.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise parts department personnel; assign duties and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Facility Organization:
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the showroom and warehouse.
Administrative Duties:
Track parts sales, manage inventory-related paperwork, and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Profitability & Performance:
Drive parts department profitability by managing costs, minimizing waste, controlling inventory levels, and maximizing sales opportunities.
Operational Support:
Assist parts associates with daily tasks as needed to ensure timely service, workflow continuity, and customer support.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
