Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to lead our automotive parts department at our Honda dealership. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and sales of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring optimal stock levels, cost efficiency, and superior customer service. This role demands strong leadership, supply chain expertise, and comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts management systems. The Parts Manager will play a vital role in maintaining seamless operations across our parts warehouse, supporting service departments, and enhancing overall dealership performance. Duties Manage the procurement process for OEM parts and accessories, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply. Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems and software. Coordinate logistics for shipping, receiving, and warehousing of parts to ensure timely availability for service repairs and customer orders. Supervise parts administration tasks such as data entry, order management, pricing updates, and parts sourcing activities. Lead demand planning efforts to forecast parts needs based on vehicle service schedules, sales trends, and historical data. Collaborate with internal teams including automotive service technicians, sales staff, and external suppliers to optimize parts availability and customer satisfaction. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and equipment repair knowledge to support technical teams in identifying parts requirements. Implement best practices in warehouse management to improve efficiency, safety, and inventory turnover rates. Maintain compliance with dealership policies and industry standards related to shipping & receiving, equipment repair, and automotive repair processes. Prepare reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance for senior management review.

At least 5 years of Honda/ import parts experience. Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse management within an automotive context. Familiar with CDK and Excel Strong knowledge of automotive service processes, including auto body repair techniques. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and vendors. Mechanical knowledge to assist in identifying parts needs and solutions effectively. Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
