Job Description
As the Manager, Supply Chain at OnLogic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning functions to ensure smooth operations. Your ability to analyze data and streamline processes will directly impact our ability to deliver products to customers on time while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will collaborate closely with various teams within the organization to forecast demand accurately and manage supplier relationships. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration and the benefits of a strong workplace community. Therefore, this full-time role requires an onsite presence at our South Burlington, Vermont office. We encourage candidates who are able to relocate or comfortably commute to apply. In this role, you'll be responsible for: Managing and optimizing the procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Developing and implementing inventory management strategies to minimize excess stock while ensuring availability for production. Coordinating with logistics to optimize shipping processes and reduce lead times. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to align on demand fluctuations and product launches. Analyzing supply chain performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives and reporting to senior management. Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met. Managing trade and compliance requirements to mitigate international transit risks. Supporting the team with day-to-day operations and problem-solving, utilizing a continuous improvement mindset.
