Supply Chain Intern Ducommun, Inc. United States, Wisconsin, Appleton 2222 East Pensar Drive (Show on map) Sep 08, 2026 Supply Chain Intern Ducommun's Appleton Performance Center is seeking

a Supply Chain Intern for the summer of 2026 with the potential to

work either full-time or part-time into the fall 2026 semester. The Supply

Chain Intern will drive material by expediting or deferring components, placing

orders, filling shortages and component maintenance. Who are we? Founded in 1849, Ducommun is the oldest company in California. Starting as a hardware supply store during the California Gold Rush and eventually assisted in the birth of the aerospace industry in Southern California by providing aircraft aluminum to early aerospace pioneers like Lindbergh, Douglas and Lockheed. Today Ducommun is a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. Our Facility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries. Job Summary Additional job responsibilities will include:

Involvement

with Supply chain projects including Improve DOI (Days of inventory), PPV

(purchase price variance), and DPO (Days payable outstanding).

Developing

supply chain programs for individual components.

Work

directly with suppliers to ensure supply is pipelined to our needs.

Propose

process changes to improve supply chain performance.

Must

be willing and able to work additional hours as necessary.

Acceptable

attendance is an essential function of the position.

Performs

other duties as assigned or required by the position. Required Skills and Qualifications Currently

enrolled and working to complete a Bachelor's degree in Business

Administration with a major in

Supply Chain preferred. Junior or Senior

status in the 2026 spring semester.

Knowledge

of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning).

Previous

experience with an ERP system a plus.

APICS

certification preferred but not required. Required Skills / Qualifications Ability

to read and write reports and business correspondence.

Ability

to effectively present information to peers and management.

Solid

critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Good

working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas,

v-lookups and pivot tables.

Must
