$75,000-$85,000 per year | First shift | Full-time Darien, Wisconsin A converting plant in the Darien area needs a Warehouse / Logistics Manager who can run a small warehouse like it matters. This is not a giant DC with three layers of supervision. You will lead about six people, keep material moving to and from the machines, and own inventory accuracy, the dock, and the truck flow. If you like being on the floor, training forklift drivers, tightening cycle counts, and still handling vendors and carriers yourself, this seat fits. First shift is the home base. A few second-shift warehouse people report in. Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred because the plant runs on both languages. What You Will Do Lead a warehouse team of about six. Set the pace, coach, and hold people to a clean, safe standard. Move material to and from production. Put-away, wrapping, staging, and getting the right roll or skid to the right machine on time. Run receiving and shipping. Load and unload trucks, keep the dock moving, and do not let trailers sit. Own racking, locations, and house layout so product can be found without a scavenger hunt. Train and qualify people on sit-down forklifts and other powered industrial trucks. Facility truck training sits with this role too. Keep cycle counts honest inside the plant ERP. Scanning, locations, production plus inventory. This is not a standalone WMS palace. Discipline beats software. Work with outside vendors and trucking partners. You will touch contracts, pickups, and the carrier conversations that keep freight from becoming a fire drill. Cover first shift as your home base and stay connected to the second-shift warehouse people who report in. What You Bring Warehouse or logistics leadership in a manufacturing plant, job shop, or converting operation. Leading people is the job, not just running a forklift yourself. Comfortable on a dock and on a floor. You have done put-away, wrapping, load/unload, and you can still teach it. Forklift / PIT experience and the judgment to train others the right way. Inventory discipline. Cycle counting, location control, and an ERP or scanning system you actually used. Manufacturing ERP experience is a plus. Vendor and carrier comfort. You can talk to a trucking company without waiting for someone else to do it. Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred. You will work around a mixed-language plant. It is not required to apply. Steady work history and a temperament that stays even when the dock is stacked and production is calling for material. Reliable transportation for a rural Walworth County plant. Easy drive from Elkhorn, Burlington, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Beloit, and nearby towns. Why You Will Love It Small team, real authority. About six people and a warehouse you can actually get your arms around. First-shift schedule with a clear home base. Some second-shift warehouse coverage reports to this seat, not a rotating nights grind. $75,000 to $85,000 per year for a working warehouse and logistics leader. You will touch the whole flow: floor, racking, ERP, dock, and carriers. Not a single-lane coordinator job. Short chain of command. Decisions show up on the floor the same day. Easy commute from Elkhorn, Burlington, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Walworth, Sharon, Clinton, and Beloit.
