Based on Experience Our client in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Planning Manager to lead purchasing, planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, accurate planning, and on-time delivery to customers. Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall strategy and execution of the organization's supply chain management function
• Manage and develop a team of planners and buyers, overseeing all purchasing activities
• Own procurement, vendor relations, production planning, logistics, and distribution operations
• Develop, implement, and sustain a production planning system to ensure on-time, in-full delivery
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimization
• Manage short and long-term forecast projections to support production and inventory goals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings
• Develop strong relationships with transportation and logistics partners
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with pricing contracts and agreements
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supply chain insights to executive leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify issues and implement effective solutions Qualifications for

Supply Chain Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, ideally within operations, manufacturing, warehouse, or purchasing environments
• Prior experience leading or managing supply chain or purchasing teams
• ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to drive cost savings, process improvements, and operational excellence Why This Role?
