$18.00 - $25.00 per hour; based on experience
Shift:
First shift only Schedule Options Option 1: This schedule is mandatory during the introductory first 3-month period.
Monday-Friday:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Overtime as needed Option 2:
Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime as needed Overview We are looking for a motivated and dependable CNC Lathe Operator / Setup Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in machining and manufacturing. Ideal candidates will have some CNC experience or mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn CNC programming, setup work, and potentially Swiss lathe operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys staying productive, takes pride in precision work, and wants opportunities for advancement into higher-level machining roles. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently Assist with machine setups and tool changes Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Perform repetitive production work with consistency and attention to detail Troubleshoot basic machining or production issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow production schedules, setup sheets, and work instructions Work independently while also contributing to a team environment Learn advanced machining skills including setups, offsets, and programming Qualifications Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate Interest in learning CNC programming and advanced setup work Interest in Swiss lathe setup and operation is a plus Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working with fractions, decimals, and basic measurements Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Ability to problem-solve and think independently Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment Good attendance and dependable work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Why Join Us Opportunity to advance into CNC Setup Technician, Programmer, and Swiss Lathe roles Hands-on training and skill development Small company environment where you can make a real impact Opportunity to wear many hats and continue learning Young, motivated company focused on growth and continuous improvement Supportive and team-oriented workplace Competitive pay based on experience Benefits On-the-job training Paid time off Referral program
