Spooner Health is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Materials Management Clerk to support purchasing, inventory, and supply operations throughout the organization. Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, accounts payable, purchasing, supply chain software, or similar work provides an excellent foundation for this role, which requires strong numerical and computer skills, accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage detailed records and transactions. The Materials Management Clerk plays an important role in supporting the organization by maintaining accurate purchasing and inventory records and ensuring departments have the supplies they need. This position combines purchasing, invoice processing, recordkeeping, inventory management, and hands-on materials distribution in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Utilize the purchasing and inventory software efficiently and accurately. Electronically create and modify purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records. Receive deliveries and verify items against packing slips and purchase orders in the software. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and research and resolve discrepancies. Generate reports and charge supplies to appropriate departments using Microsoft Dynamics GP and Workplace. Maintain organized electronic and paper records. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and monitoring expiration dates. Fill and deliver departmental requisitions and prepare outgoing shipments. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful candidates will have strong numerical, organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and 10-key is important. This position also includes physical responsibilities such as receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies and requires the ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds.
