90-Day Contract-to-Hire Help Build the Future of Kadali America Kedalii America is launching a new U.S. division, and we are seeking a talented and driven Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the startup and growth of a new manufacturing operation. As one of the early members of the team, you will help establish processes, optimize material flow, support production planning, and build a scalable supply chain operation that directly contributes to the success of the business. This position will begin as a 90-day contract assignment . Upon successful completion of the contract period and mutual agreement between both parties, the role will transition to a full-time position with benefits. Position Overview The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for optimizing manufacturing and supply chain processes while ensuring the timely availability of materials required to support production. This position oversees inventory management, production planning activities, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as needed to maximize efficiency and meet business objectives. Analyze operational data and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate material availability while minimizing excess inventory. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Identify and address inventory shortages, discrepancies, and supply risks. Supplier & Material Coordination Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Build strong supplier relationships to support operational requirements and business growth. Resolve material-related issues and escalate concerns as necessary. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with production, procurement, quality assurance, and other departments to support business operations. Serve as a key communication link between internal teams and external suppliers. Ensure material and logistical requirements are aligned with production goals. Reporting & Process Improvement Prepare and maintain reports related to production performance, inventory levels, and key operational metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on production planning, inventory management, and material handling processes. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and operational efficiencies. Quality & Compliance Support company quality standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure logistics and inventory practices align with company and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Education & Experience Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. 4-6 years of progressive experience in production planning, logistics, inventory management, materials management, or supply chain operations. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience supporting facility startups, new operations, or rapidly growing organizations. Advanced ERP system experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Successful candidates will possess: Strong knowledge of production planning, logistics, and inventory management principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience utilizing ERP systems and inventory management software. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Frequent use of computers and office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments. Work Environment This position is primarily office-based but requires regular interaction with manufacturing operations and visits to the production floor. Occasional travel may be required.
