Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch Transportation Manager to join our team at B & B Transport Inc. in Central California. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our fleet operations, contributing directly to our mission of providing top-notch refrigerated transportation services. Responsibilities Oversee daily fleet operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. Implement transportation management systems to optimize fleet efficiency. Analyze logistics data to improve operational performance. Collaborate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries. Train and mentor staff on best practices in fleet management. Develop strategies for cost-effective transportation solutions. Maintain accurate records of fleet activities and performance metrics. Qualifications Proven experience in fleet management or a related field. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and logistics. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Familiarity with GPS technology and dispatching processes is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
