rotating on call Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the provision of assistance to victims of human trafficking to mitigate the impact of victimization. Will be on rotation to respond to client emergencies, calls from law enforcement, and through the National Human Trafficking Hotline. Master's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline. Licensed as MFT or LCSW preferred but not required. Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, organizational and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population and to be sensitive to the needs of special populations. Ability to establish rapport, make accurate assessment of client needs and strengths, and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect. Knowledge of theory and experience with techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, crisis intervention, trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches preferred. Knowledge/experience working with victims of human trafficking and/or knowledgeable of the dynamics of power and control and the cycle of violence preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
