The Transportation Manager supervises daily transportation activities and personnel to ensure functions are performed according to our standards and guidelines.
Full-time Salary:
$90,000 to $105,000 You will work Monday - Friday with the ability to be flexible on work hours/shifts. •All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address.•You will: Manage a cohesive, collaborative team, including supervisors, dispatchers, clerks, routers, and 44 in-house drivers Maximize the use of our transportation options: 34 box trucks, tractors, and trailers Manage relationships with vendors Ensure all drivers comply with company, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including DOT and OSHA, and oversee incident reporting. Ensure mandatory reporting (Hut, IFTA) is done on time and accurately Develop KPIs for transportation staff's performance Develop continuous improvement plans for key metrics You have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 2+ years of experience in Transportation / Fleet management, preferably with a related distribution industry Class A or Class B driver's license is preferred Experience with DQ file compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A working knowledge of SmartDrive and Roadnet, LYTX, Grotab, and Omnitracs is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus About Imperial Dade!
