Job Description

Storer Transit Systems is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Operations Manager to lead our urban and rural fixed-route operations. This role is the operational heartbeat of the service, responsible for maximizing on-time performance (OTP), overseeing daily rollout, and integrating modern dispatch technologies to deliver a flawless passenger experience.
Compensation:
$103,000 - $110,000 (DOE) +
Comprehensive Benefits Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
Direct daily fixed-route operations across urban and rural corridors, ensuring zero missed trips and strict adherence to published schedules.
Operational Control:
Oversee daily morning gate checks, run-cutting, and operator bidding processes to ensure the most efficient deployment of personnel and revenue vehicles.
Technology Utilization:
Leverage modern transit technology (e.g., Syncromatics CAD/AVL, electronic fareboxes, video surveillance) to monitor route performance, analyze OTP data, and correct systemic delays.
Workforce Management:
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of Road Supervisors, Dispatchers, and Operators in a unionized environment.
Incident Response:
Provide rapid, decisive leadership during service disruptions, road calls, or accidents, ensuring immediate deployment of spare vehicles to maintain continuous service.
