$27-$29Hourly Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our growing team at our Riverside location. This role will focus on managing local transportation, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless fulfillment and distribution.Responsibilities:
Local Transportation & Drayage:
Plan, schedule, and dispatch local transportation (drayage and last-mile trucking) for inbound and outbound shipments.Shipment Tracking:
Monitor real-time status of local deliveries, resolve transit delays, and communicate updates to internal teams and clients.Warehouse Operations Support:
Assist with daily warehouse operational tasks, including inbound receiving, inventory management, storage allocation, and outbound order fulfillment.System & Data Management:
Utilize CargoWise / WMS to maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records; update operational data in real time.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work closely with the warehouse management team, drivers, and external carriers to streamline cargo flow and optimize dock appointment schedules.Billing & Cost Reconciliation:
Handle local freight and delivery billing; collaborate closely with the finance department to reconcile invoices and resolve rate discrepancies.Customer Service:
Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries regarding local delivery progress, order fulfillment, and warehouse inventory status.Compliance & Safety:
Ensure local transport and warehouse activities comply with safety standards, DOT regulations, and company guidelines.Requirements:
2 years or more of relevant experience in local transportation dispatch, warehouse operations, or logistics coordination preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with logistics/warehouse management software (CargoWise, WMS, etc.). Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment. Bilingual (Chinese and English) preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate between drivers, warehouse staff, management, and clients.Pay:
