Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans to deliver packages along assigned routes Load and unload shipments efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines, and safety protocols during all driving activities Ensure accurate delivery by verifying recipient information and obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met Communicate effectively using mobile devices to update delivery statuses or report issues promptly Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients, answering questions, and resolving minor concerns Requirements Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools. You must have at least 12 month of delivery driving experience within last 3 years. No criminal background or no more than two moving violations within last year. Valid driver's license suitable for operating box trucks, vans; commercial driving license not required Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation is advantageous Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices essential for compliance and safety Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
