Road Supervisor

Job Description

What we're looking for: We are looking for a Road Supervisor for our NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) programs. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing, developing and enhancing the safety and performance of our transportation drivers. The potential candidate will be someone who believes in our company's mission and wants to use their skill set and know-how to help us achieve our goals as we continue to grow. This position involves managing a team of drivers. You'll ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as address compliance, customer service and safety concerns. The Road Supervisor will collaborate with upper management, administrative personnel, and drivers to provide exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage the performance of drivers during daily transportation operations.
  • Implement and adhere to operation policies and strategic plans to achieve performance goals.
  • Update drivers about rules, regulations, laws, procedures, and company policies.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Oversee activities directly related to our transportation service.
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are well maintained, meeting federal, state, county and company standards.
  • Manage all drivers, including addressing concerns, counseling, and disciplining.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and workshops to gather and convey information for efficient job performance.
  • Assist with transportation needs when required, ensuring seamless service delivery during peak times or unusual circumstances.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
