Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver - Independent Contractor, where your personal vehicle becomes the key to connecting communities and delivering exceptional service. As a vital link between businesses and customers, you will navigate local routes, handle packages with care, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate your personal vehicle, suv/ mini vans or similar vehicles, to complete delivery routes efficiently. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices and adherence to weight handling regulations. Follow planned routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while complying with traffic regulations. Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages accurately and professionally, addressing customer questions courteously. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each route completed. You are able to download your route directly to your email / phone pdf. Adhere to all safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and workplace safety standards. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and customer service excellence. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation like pallet jacks. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices. SUV mini vans or similar vehicles, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type. Strong understanding of traffic laws, and weight handling requirements in the workplace. Competence in using mobile devices for navigation and delivery tracking purposes.
