Fleet Manager- Amazon DSP

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our company's vehicle fleet. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of all transportation assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of fleet operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the company's logistical success while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities Manage daily fleet operations, including scheduling, inspecting, and dispatching of vehicles to meet organizational needs. Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with safety regulations. Understand and maintain Amazon DSP/DOT safety and vehicle regulation, ensuring all fleet is operable for daily operations. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance history, licensing, and insurance documentation. Develop and enforce policies related to driver safety, vehicle usage, and compliance with transportation laws. Coordinate with vendors for vehicle repairs Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct regular audits to minimize risks associated with fleet operations. Experience Proven experience in fleet management or transportation logistics is highly preferred. Experience with hands on repairs of routine obstacles Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams or drivers. Proficiency in fleet management software or related technology platforms is a plus. Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies. This role is vital for maintaining the reliability and safety of our transportation operations while supporting the overall success of our organization's logistics strategy.

From $20.75 per hour
