We are looking for a hands-on manager with strong leadership skills and previous FedEx P&D contractor experience. The ideal candidate should understand daily FedEx operations, driver management, route execution, service performance, safety, and fleet readiness. Responsibilities Manage daily dispatch and route execution. Supervise, coach, and support drivers. Manage driver call-outs, route coverage, rescues, and operational issues. Monitor daily service performance, DNAs, disputed deliveries, and package returns. Work with DRO and FedEx operational systems. Monitor routes throughout the day and proactively resolve service issues. Ensure vehicles are ready and available for daily operation. Monitor VEDR and safety events and provide driver coaching when necessary. Assist with accidents, incidents, and required documentation. Maintain compliance with FedEx contractor requirements and company safety policies. Communicate professionally with FedEx station management. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training drivers. Help prepare and manage the operation during Peak and high-volume periods. Qualifications Previous FedEx P&D / FedEx Ground contractor experience strongly preferred. Previous experience as a BC, Operations Manager, Route Manager, or Lead Driver preferred. Knowledge of DRO, MyGroundBiz, VEDR, FedEx scanners, and service metrics preferred. Experience managing multiple drivers and routes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make quick operational decisions in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license. English required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Weekend availability when required by the operation. Compensation & Benefits $67,500-$78,000 per year, depending on FedEx P&D management experience. One week of paid vacation per year. Full-time position. We are looking for someone who understands FedEx P&D operations and can take ownership of the day-to-day operation while maintaining strong service, safety, and driver performance.
