We operate Florida PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Centers, the largest PACE program in Florida, which serves as health plan, healthcare provider, and social center designed for older adults with complex medical needs. Job Title:
Transportation Coordinator (Florida PACE Centers) Job Summary Under general supervision of the Transportation Manager, plans, organizes and implements the transportation services of the Day Health Center Essential Job Functions Plans and coordinates all scheduling activities related to transportation forMJH / PACE
participantsSupervises daily the activities of the DriversProvides Human Resources Management in conjunction with the Transportation Manager of DriversResponsible for coordination of all outside service providers of transportationMonitors drivers and ensures the safe operation of company vehiclesAssures all necessary program records are maintained according to policyCompletes other job duties related to the care and well-being ofMJH PACE

High School Diploma or equivalentExperience:
Two years of supervisory experience preferredLicenses/Certifications:
Current Florida Driver's License Class A, B or C with passenger endorsementProof of car insurance Abilities Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of Dade and Broward County streetsAbility to deal with physical and emotionally frail, elderly and/or disabled personsAbility to get in and out of the buses constantly to assist passengersMust attend and pass safety driving program annually, and maintain good driving recordOperates equipment to assist disabled personsFunctional Demands Environment Work Conditions:
