$20.00-$22.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to support daily logistics and transportation operations. This position plays an essential role in coordinating shipment activities, dispatching deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing operational support to ensure efficient workflow. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on operational tasks, including driving a cargo van when needed. Key Responsibilities Coordinate shipment re-icing activities by scheduling and assigning operational tasks. Prepare and distribute daily pick-up and delivery reports to drivers. Communicate daily operational updates with the Miami operations team via email. Conduct weekly inventory audits of operational supplies. Provide driver coverage as needed by operating a company cargo van. Complete pre-shift vehicle inspections using company inspection reports. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of company vehicles. Refuel company vehicles and submit fuel receipts for documentation. Verify airway bill numbers against delivery records to ensure accuracy. Record tracking numbers for all shipments, pick-ups, and deliveries. Inspect incoming shipments, re-pack as necessary, and immediately report any discrepancies or damages. Assist with general operational and logistical tasks to support business needs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving cargo or delivery vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL is not required. Experience operating a 22-foot cargo van is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer applications. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfortable performing both office and warehouse-related tasks. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
