This position is responsible for managing daily transportation oper ations, supervising drivers, coordinating with transportation brokers and third-party vendors, and ensuring safe, reliable, and timely transportation for our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and logistics experience, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare transportation operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department, including scheduling, dispatching, and route coordination. Manage and supervise a fleet of company-owned vans, ensuring proper maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with transportation brokers and third-party transportation vendors. Ensure patients receive safe, timely, and efficient transportation to and from medical appointments. Monitor driver performance, attendance, safety, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Develop and implement effective routing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and optimize transportation resources. Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal transportation regulations and requirements. Monitor department budgets, fuel usage, vehicle-related expenses, and overall operational costs. Investigate and resolve transportation-related concerns, complaints, accidents, and incidents in a timely manner. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and center management teams to effectively support patient transportation needs. Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes, service quality, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably within a healthcare or medical transportation environment. Demonstrated experience managing a fleet of vehicles, including vans or passenger shuttles. Proven experience working with transportation brokers and third-party transportation vendors. Strong knowledge of routing, dispatch operations, GPS tracking, and transportation management systems. Familiarity with healthcare transportation regulations and patient service standards. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Experience managing NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) operations. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements as they relate to transportation services. Experience with transportation, dispatch, routing, or logistics software. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with patients, drivers, vendors, and healthcare teams. What We Offer Competitive salary
