This vital role involves coordinating vehicle dispatching, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and optimizing logistics processes to support our supply chain and road transportation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to fleet management. Duties CDL Driver License require to drive big vehicles Oversee fleet maintenance schedules, vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners such as 3PL providers to streamline shipping & receiving, freight handling, and logistics operations. Utilize GPS and GIS technologies for route planning, transportation analysis, and optimizing road transportation operations. Maintain accurate data entry related to fleet activities, including vehicle logs, incident reports, and shipment documentation. Handle phone call management through multi-line phone systems to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders. Monitor freight movement, coordinate vehicle dispatching, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to safety standards and customer service expectations. Requirements Proven experience in fleet management or transportation planning within logistics or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), vehicle dispatch software, and logistics software such as Oracle Transportation Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and internal communication. Familiarity with DOT regulations and road transportation operations to ensure compliance and safety. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for phone etiquette, internal communication, and customer service interactions. Analysis skills to evaluate route efficiency, freight costs, and operational performance metrics. Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities using multi-line phone systems and internal communication tools.
