Overview:
We are seeking reliable and motivated independent contractors to perform residential home deliveries in Rome, GA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who live near Cobb, Gordon, Paulding, Polk, Bartow, and Cherokee Counties that enjoy working independently, choosing their own schedules, and providing excellent customer service.
- Responsibilities:
- Pick up packages from Kennesaw, GA
- Deliver packages (80-120pkgs) to residential customers in Rome, GA
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Ensure safe handling and delivery of items
- Communicate professionally with customers when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery records using a mobile app or system
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle (cars, suvs, minivans, cargo vans...)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift and carry packages (weight may vary)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior delivery or logistics experience
- Familiarity with Metro Atlanta routes and neighborhoods
- Customer service experience
Compensation:
- Paid per stop (earn based on number of completed delivery stops)
- Competitive stop rates with opportunities to increase earnings through efficiency (Stop rate is based on distance from pick up location)
- Paid every Friday with a week in the hole.
