FedEx Ground experience is required for this role. If you have not worked inside a FedEx Ground operation as a BC, assistant BC, dispatcher, lead driver, or MIT, this is not the job for you and we will not be able to consider your application. This is not a general management position. We are not looking for retail, restaurant, warehouse, or corporate operations managers. ABOUT US PAAS

Logistics is a FedEx Ground contracted service provider running delivery operations out of the Kennesaw station. We are hiring a Route Manager, the Business Contact (BC) for our operation, to run the driver team day to day. You would report directly to the owner.

GET OUT OF THE TRUCK

You are not assigned a route. Your day is the station, the dispatch floor, and your drivers, not 150 stops and a dark drive home. You will still step in and cover when the operation needs it, and we are upfront about that, but that is the exception and not your job. You run the morning. You go home when the last driver is in. THE PAY $900 to $1,100 per week on a 5 day schedule $180 to $220 per day depending on experience Performance bonus tied to service and safety results Holiday pay eligible after 90 days, PTO after 1 year

WHAT THE JOB IS

Getting drivers staged, briefed, and out on time every morning Handling call outs, coverage gaps, and rescues as they come up Supervising the driver team, coaching performance, tracking attendance Keeping the station compliant on RYDE, VEDR, and GroundCloud Onboarding new hires and developing lead drivers Documenting attendance, coaching conversations, and incidents

WHAT WE NEED

Direct FedEx Ground experience, required, no exceptions Working knowledge of GroundCloud, RYDE, and VEDR Someone organized who documents their work Someone who can hold drivers to a standard without blowing up the relationship Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
