Our fleet is the backbone of the business with 30+ vehicles and growing, from diesel pump trucks to service vans to heavy equipment. The Opportunity Own the Fleet. Vacuum/pump trucks, a growing lineup of Transit and Promaster vans, and every piece of vocational gear that keeps them running. You should know these trucks and all their quirks. Obsess over uptime. We want someone who feels it personally when a truck is down & already thinking about the fix on the drive in, not waiting for a work order. Hands-on, no bureaucracy. If something needs fixing, you fix it. No red tape between you and the wrench. Family-owned, high standards. We're adding trucks, equipment, and locations. Opportunity to build the fleet's future, not just maintain it. What You'll Do Maintain and repair a mixed fleet of diesel tanker trucks (Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International), service vans & plumbing vans. Diagnose and fix issues quickly - in the yard, on the road, or at job sites. Maintain and coordinate equipment. Excavators, tractor, and Terralift — including logistics like dropping excavators at job sites and moving trailers when needed. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections across all vehicle classes, catching problems before they become breakdowns Coordinate with 3rd party mechanics when needed Stock and upfit new trucks and vans to company standards, ensuring they're fully production-ready Build and maintain stock lists for vehicles and equipment Own fleet administration end-to-end: iPass accounts, state registrations and stickers, assign drivers, GPS/telematics monitoring, and equipment assignments Monitor GPS/telematics data (speeding, harsh braking, idling, etc.) and flag driver behavior trends Assist with equipment logistics — moving trucks, transporting equipment, coordinating trailer use Qualifications Strong diesel mechanic experience Bias for action and an entrepreneurial spirit Genuine passion for trucks and equipment Experience with vocational equipment & small engines CDL required (Class A preferred) Comfortable working independently and solving problems on the fly Willing to go where the work is — shop, yard, roadside, or field Own tools preferred
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
