You must be punctual, reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a consistent weekly schedule. Comfort with web-based applications and the ability to track multiple moving parts at once are essential. You'll be juggling real-time information about flights, guests, and drivers, so thinking clearly and being focused and fully present are non-negotiables. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in high-touch hospitality environments, such as full service hotel front desks, where professionalism, discretion, and customer service are foundational to success. The Airport Greeter at BOS role is NOT suited for individuals who require close oversight, are easily overwhelmed in crowded, busy, or noisy spaces, or who struggle to adapt when plans change with little notice. Job Description As an on-site Airport Greeter at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), your primary responsibility will be to greet First and Business Class passengers arriving on a specific international flight and coordinate a seamless handoff to their pre-assigned private chauffeurs. This specific international flight lands daily—Sunday through Saturday—at approximately 2:30 PM. The actual landing time determines the start-time of your shift, which on any given day may be earlier or later depending on delays or early landings. Each shift lasts approximately 2 hours, and we guarantee a minimum of 2 hours of pay per shift. This is a very part-time position. We are looking for someone to cover 2 or 3 shifts per week, with availability on Saturday or Sunday.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring the assigned flight's landing time and adjusting your shift start time accordingly Greeting First and Business Class passengers in the international arrivals hall with warmth, professionalism, and a passion for service Using a web-based application to track and update passenger and chauffeur status in real time Coordinating a seamless connection between passenger and driver Resolving emergent issues with calm, clear, efficient decision-making Communicating clearly and professionally with guests, drivers, airline representatives, our office, and with others you may come in contact with on the job. $30.00 per hour Application Question(s): What days are you available for this shift? If you were provided with a password for this post, please enter it here. Why are you applying for this job? Please give two reasons. Describe a difficult work situation you have experienced and how you handled it. What is your greatest professional achievement or victory to date? Are you reliably available to accommodate a shift that could vary slightly based on the landing time of an international flight? For example, while the scheduled landing time is 2:30pm, this means your shift could begin as early as 1:30 PM or as late as 3:30 PM on a given day. Extreme flight delays (over 3 hours late) seldom happen but would mean for an even later start time. Do you currently work at BOS? If so, what is your schedule (days and hours) and how often does it change? We use a set schedule each week but if needed, would you be able to help on other days?
