High School Diploma or GED RequiredPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shipping Associate / Material Handler to join our manufacturing and shipping team. This role is responsible for loading finished products for shipment, operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting day-to-day shipping operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoad finished goods onto flatbed trucks using overhead cranes, hoists, and ground support equipment.
Assist with Mi-Jack crane operations and safely secure products for shipment.
Tarp, seal, package, and protect finished goods prior to shipping.
Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility and stock yard.
Utilize RF scanners and tablets to accurately track inventory and shipment information.
Verify finished goods using pick lists, yard reports, and shipping documentation before shipment.
Support on-time shipping schedules while minimizing delays and carrier detention.
Identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and operational efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Cross-train on multiple shipping functions and assist throughout the department as needed.
Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 6 months of manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or logistics experienceAbility to obtain or currently possess Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certificationWillingness to learn or previous experience operating:
