What You'll Do:

Coordinate and Schedule all resident appointments. Order all medical supplies for the building. Ensure delivery of medical supplies is received, put away and stocked properly Safely operate facility-owned vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vans or buses. Transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, social outings, and other off-site destinations. Provide physical assistance to residents as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle. Ensure proper use of safety restraints, including wheelchair tie-downs and seat belts. Maintain accurate transportation logs, including mileage, times, and resident transport records. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident schedules and needs. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the transport vehicle at all times. Follow all traffic laws, facility policies, and safety procedures.
