In this dynamic role, you will oversee moving crews, manage logistics, and ensure that all moving tasks are executed seamlessly. Duties Lead and supervise moving crews during residential and commercial relocations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking of household or office items with attention to safety and proper manual handling techniques. Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and trucks including box trucks and commercial trucks with manual transmissions. Manage route driving responsibilities while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for commercial vehicle operation. Ensure safe lifting practices are followed by all team members to prevent injuries during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks. Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the move process. Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, load & unload activities, vehicle inspections, and safety compliance using mobile devices or other digital tools. Qualifications Proven experience in the moving industry with a strong background in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or commercial truck driving. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in physically demanding environments involving heavy lifting and manual handling. Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not required. Familiarity with warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and dollies. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
