About the opportunity Fleet Clean is seeking a dependable, motivated Route Manager to lead field crews and keep daily routes safe, organized, and on schedule. This is a working field-leadership position, not a desk-only role. You will work alongside crews, verify service quality, and keep the Operations Manager informed. Key responsibilities Daily route execution. Coordinate approved routes and crew assignments. Verify addresses, site contacts, access instructions, required services, and equipment before departure. Report delays and arrange adjustments with management. Working crew leadership. Lead, train, and support employees in the field. Help with washing, washouts, setup, and recovery as needed. Address attendance and performance concerns and escalate issues requiring formal action. Service quality and customers. Check work before leaving each site. Confirm unit counts and required services, communicate professionally with customer contacts, and resolve or escalate service concerns. Safety and equipment care. Enforce company safety and wash-water recovery procedures. Check equipment and supplies, report maintenance needs, and ensure vehicles are cleaned, stocked, secured, and ready for the next shift. Efficient, accurate work. Keep crews productive without sacrificing safety or quality. Track work and travel time accurately, avoid unnecessary downtime and waste, and obtain approval for changes outside the daily plan. Documentation and closeout. Maintain accurate job status, unit numbers, service photos, and required washout evidence. Record missed or inaccessible units and incomplete work. Submit a complete end-of-shift report; never mark unperformed work as completed. Qualifications Dependable, organized, and able to lead people, solve problems, and manage changing priorities. Previous crew-lead, route, supervisory, or field-service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a smartphone, scheduling apps, and digital service records. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements are required. Must be comfortable working outdoors and alongside crews and able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
