Summary:

Within the context of the Interdisciplinary Team setting, the Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of transportation operations across all Catholic Health LIFE locations. The Transportation Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of Transportation Coordinators, LIFE Drivers, contracted transportation vendors, fleet operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, transportation safety programs, and transportation performance metrics. The Transportation Supervisor develops operational standards, monitors departmental performance, ensures compliance with

regulations and organizational policies, and promotes safe, efficient, participant-centered transportation services. The position serves as the primary transportation subject matter expert and collaborates closely with Leadership, the IDT, and vendor partners to ensure transportation services support participant care and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Education:

Associates Degree required Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of transportation, logistics, scheduling, healthcare operations, or related experience required. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience required. Experience managing staff schedules, performance, and productivity preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience working with frail elderly populations, PACE programs, healthcare transportation, or community-based services preferred. Experience overseeing contracted vendors and service agreements preferred. Experience utilizing transportation scheduling or routing software preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Ability to travel between LIFE locations. Ability to inspect vehicles and transportation operations. Ability to respond to transportation incidents and emergencies. Effective communication skills including the ability to assist team members in understanding participants' transportation needs. Ability to develop and maintain relationships and to work productively with all levels of personnel including physicians, families, caregivers. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills. Ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Knowledge of transportation operations, scheduling, routing, fleet management, and transportation safety practices. Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and develop corrective action plans. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
