Responsibilities Oversee the thorough cleaning of buses during overnight shifts, including exterior washing, vehicle paint correction, buffing, and interior detailing to ensure pristine condition. Operate standard passenger car and heavy-duty cleaning equipment safely and effectively to achieve optimal results. Manage and supervise a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs such as paint touch-ups or window tinting requirements; coordinate repairs as necessary. Ensure compliance with safe work practices by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols during all cleaning activities. Maintain vehicle cleanliness standards consistently while managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Support CDL operations by assisting with vehicle movement or positioning when required, ensuring safe handling with manual transmissions and auto buffers. Skills Proven experience operating standard passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles with manual transmissions. Strong knowledge of automotive buffing, vehicle paint correction, window tinting, and exterior washing techniques. Familiarity with auto detailing processes including interior cleaning, custodial tasks, and vehicle exterior maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling cleaning equipment or supplies. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Experience working in auto detailing facilities or janitorial environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of safe work practices related to automotive cleaning and custodial duties; ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
