1st shift, Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm $20-$25/hr - Direct hire-Full time benefits.
General Job Summary:
Responsible to release approved parts for shipment to Outside Service Vendors. Must accurately complete paperwork and follow special instructions indicated on Traveler.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job requirements and company policy. Communicates with McAlpin drivers on daily routes while maintaining record of shipping information Verifies and accurately counts parts staged in the area for shipment. Properly packs or secures parts as indicated on Traveler. Corresponds with Purchasing for Purchase Order and authorization to ship. Maintains up-to-date Shipping Log for tracking parts. Loads and unloads trucks. Proficient in Microsoft applications. Background using ERP systems and shipping software. Inspects incoming freight for damage. Must be capable of driving a forklift truck. Other duties, as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
1-2 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
