Terminal Manager

Own full P&L-level accountability for a terminal's safety, service, quality Manage and grow a network of independent contractor delivery partners. As Terminal Manager, you'll lead hourly associates and independent contractor partners to hit daily, weekly, and peak-season goals — all while being the face of a company known for delivering a five-star experience on every job. Why This Opportunity Is Different This isn't a desk job disconnected from the field — you'll be out doing ride-behinds with your teams, actively route monitoring, and staying close to the operation rather than managing from a distance. You'll have real ownership over independent contractor partnerships, budget performance, and KPI-driven improvements, with a company that's scaling fast and looking for leaders who want to grow with it. What You'll Be Doing Leading, coaching, and developing hourly associates and independent contractor partners Owning terminal performance across safety, service, quality, and cost Managing inbound/outbound hub operations including staging, deluxing, repairs, returns, and claims Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous operational improvement Building and maintaining strong independent contractor partnerships focused on profitability and compliance Conducting weekly ride-behinds and active route monitoring to ensure client satisfaction Planning daily, weekly, monthly, and peak season labor schedules Managing budget performance and financial plan objectives What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of Final Mile/Last Mile delivery experience 3-5 years of distribution management or leadership experience Experience managing, recruiting, and working with independent contractors Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred Furniture delivery experience preferred Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment, including field time Compensation & Work Model $70,000-$75,000. Onsite role with regular field presence required. Location & Travel Dayton, Ohio. Regular local travel required for ride-behinds and route monitoring; flexibility for extended hours or weekends during peak operational needs. To apply or learn more, contact: Aimee.
