Job Description
Lead the Future of Fleet Operations at E-Tank E-Tank is a growing environmental services company operating across 10 locations in multiple states . We continue to invest in our people, technology, and equipment—including more than $4.6 million in new fleet and pump assets —to support our continued growth. We're looking for an experienced Regional Fleet Manager to lead the performance, reliability, and long-term strategy of our fleet. Schedule Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel to branch locations as business needs require What You'll Do Fleet Leadership Lead the company's fleet maintenance and reliability program across multiple locations. Supervise, coach, and develop mechanics and fleet personnel. Partner with Operations Managers and executive leadership to support field operations. Establish consistent maintenance standards and best practices company-wide. Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Fleet Operations Oversee the lifecycle of trucks, trailers, pickups, pumps, roll-off equipment, and specialty environmental equipment. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs that maximize equipment availability. Improve fleet utilization while minimizing downtime. Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Coordinate fleet repairs and ensure timely return-to-service. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety standards. Manage inspections, registrations, licensing, permits, and required documentation. Investigate vehicle incidents and implement corrective actions. Support and reinforce E-Tank's Safety First culture. Fleet Technology & Analytics Manage Fleetio, Geotab, Motive, and other fleet technologies. Develop meaningful KPIs and reporting dashboards. Analyze maintenance trends, utilization, fuel performance, and repair costs. Use data to improve fleet reliability and operational efficiency. Financial & Strategic Planning Develop and manage the annual fleet maintenance budget. Review and approve repair expenditures. Build strong vendor partnerships while negotiating competitive pricing. Recommend equipment replacement schedules and capital investments. Participate in long-term fleet planning and continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Five or more years of experience in fleet management, fleet maintenance, transportation, heavy equipment, or shop operations. Experience leading mechanics, technicians, or fleet personnel. Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor relationships. Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel to branch locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fleetio, Geotab, and Motive. OSHA 30 Certification. ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification. Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM). Class A CDL.
