Job Description

PURPOSE. This position's primary responsibility will be the performance of administrative work directly related to the management and business operations to utilize the capacity provided by Independent Contractors to service the Company's network of customers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.
The employee's primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with regards to managing the business relationships with assigned Independent Contractors. Ensure contracted commercial drivers adhere to FMCSA and DOT regulations and proactively address any Safety related procedures according to the Independent Contractor Operating Agreement (ICOA). Communicate available load options timely and with relevant details for the purpose of maximizing capacity and revenue earnings growth for the Company and Independent Contractor. Monitor services of Independent Contractors, to include compliance, expected customer performance standards set by the Company and vendors, and on-time delivery. Terminate services of Independent Contractors who fail to meet compliance, expected customer service performance standards and on-time delivery agreements. Responsible for mitigating risk through contract and agreement knowledge, thorough understanding of contract objectives and circumstances that preclude problems.
Must be well versed with:
Independent Contractor Operating Agreement Independent Contractor insurance coverage Qualifications and Education Requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of transportation, logistic, or load planning experience. TMW System or like system capacity planning experience preferred Preferred Skills Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.
