Driver Manager Full-time Portland, OR Join Day & Ross as a valued member of our Operations Team. The Driver Manager plays a key role in ensuring the safe, timely delivery of goods for our diverse range of customers. This position is responsible for maximizing fleet productivity and profitability, while fostering a positive working environment for drivers and promoting retention through effective management and support. Key Responsibilities Provide complete load information, including routing and directions, ensuring drivers are fully prepared for assignments Coach drivers on time management to facilitate on-time delivery and compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Maintain accurate records for drivers, trips, and customers within the TMS (Transportation Management System) Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company standards Negotiate and arrange transportation for goods (during or outside regular hours of business - if/when required) Qualifications & Experience Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; logistics experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Previous supervisory, transportation, or operational experience necessary TMS system software background preferred Willingness to travel as required Application Process To apply, please visit our Careers page at dayross.com.
