A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT STAFF

- School Pickup & Drop-Off As an Transportation Support Staff at childcare locations, You will be driving the 10 passenger van for before and/or after school. So no CDL required. You assist the child care program director in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all children involved. Always alert, you provide proper supervision for the children as you "see, hear, direct, and assess." You are careful to act as a role model for the children at all times! With enthusiasm, you drive the van in a safe manner, obeying traffic signs, watching for pedestrians and keeping the children in your van safe.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR

Transportation Support Staff At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass a physical Negative TB test Drivers License Are you a people person who especially enjoys interacting with children? Do you have a safe driving record? Are you patient and able to remain calm when stressed? If so, you might just be perfect for this Transportation position!
